What kind of city project do we want for the Brussels-Capital Region looking ahead to 2020 and 2040? What are the main priorities?
To help develop the Regional Sustainable Development Plan, 21 Solutions was given the task of designing and facilitating a participatory process, within the framework of an assignment in partnership with the consultancy firms EcoRes and Atanor and the Institute for Environmental Management and Regional Development (IGEAT) of the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Key groups in the Region (the authorities, the social partners, non-profit organisations and grassroots operators, private-sector bodies, academics, citizens) were involved in 28 thematic workshops, a citizen panel, public forums and online forums. As the coordinator of the approach, 21 Solutions steered the communication process and arranged the workshops. The team also facilitated workshops on the environment and transport.
