What motivates us
In 2008, the 21stcentury was still brand-new, and we wanted to make our contribution to a comprehensive strategy for sustainable development. This was why 21 Solutions was created: to enable organisations and citizens – quite simply – to change the world. And it’s this same desire that drives us today, more than ever.
What we do
We design and implement diagnostic, management, guidance, capacity-building and networking tools for citizens, collectives, businesses, non-profit organisations and public authorities, on issues relating to the transition to sustainability in areas such as energy, the environment, transport, construction, regional development, food, biodiversity, the circular economy and citizenship.
Architecture, history, human sciences, engineering, environmental management… Each and every one of us started out with a strong educational background and has acquired extensive hands-on experience in a wide variety of projects relating to the transition to sustainability. We are multilingual and multidisciplinary, we draw energy from causes that make sense to us (the environment, gender equality, empowerment, urban development, community life) and we are driven by a shared conviction that cooperation changes the world.
The transition to sustainability is at the heart of our day-to-day reality. How could we advise our clients on environmental management and civic engagement without making any effort to reduce our own daily impacts? The way we run our own office, including waste sorting, a sustainable purchasing policy, an active transport policy and horizontal governance, reflects our personal engagement with these issues.
