Active in the management of office and event waste for more than 15 years, MCA Recycling has been supported in its environmental approach by 21 Solutions since 2012.After introducing an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and EMAS, our team evaluated and supported the maintenance of the system by conducting a series of internal audits.
Very soon, the environmental approach was found to be closely linked to a quality approach: the DotSimply tool that we developed and introduced at MCA Recycling allows waste collection personnel to encode the types and volumes of waste collected from customers and report any problems encountered. Combined with a Bilan Carbone® carbon footprint calculation, this overall approach to environmental management enables MCA Recycling to identify opportunities for improvement in certain waste categories and to find new outlets in a circular economy approach.
