Launched in 2015 to support and reward sustainable Brussels canteens and restaurants with a sustainable food approach, the Good Food Canteens and Good Food Restaurants labels reward efforts to offer tasty menus based on organic, seasonal, local or fair trade and vegetarian products, in order to reduce food waste and the impact of food activities.
The 21 Solutions team has thus supported various canteens of all sizes at businesses, schools or authorities, as well as restaurants and caterers, as they develop their offering and put together their application for the Good Food label. The programme for this support, offered at the request of Brussels Environment, includes on-site visits, a complete diagnosis of the food supply, support with the implementation of sustainable food arrangements and support with the preparation of the application.
