As part of the Good Food strategy implemented by the Brussels-Capital Region to promote a sustainable food system, 21 Solutions has been entrusted with several training and capacity-building roles, serving:

  • non-profit organisations, with training courses in sustainable and quality food for ‘Good Food champions’ within non-profits or local public-sector organisations;
  • grassroots groups, with the steering of sustainable food projects in connection with the ‘Inspiring the district’ call for citizen-minded projects initiated by Brussels Environment
  • the local group Babbelstoemp, with a pilot project in which an ‘urban fridge’ has been set up in the public space in Anderlecht; this initiative is the fruit of joint work by the municipality of Anderlecht, the Foyer Anderlechtois, the Federation of Social Services, the La Roue collective and citizens eager to get involved in the project. The project aims to serve as an inspiring model that can be copied elsewhere in the Brussels-Capital Region.
